Ahmed Elbakri - Junior Social Media Marketing Intern
I’ve genuinely been loving my internship with Aramark in social media marketing. It’s been such a cool experience getting to work behind the scenes on real campaigns, create content that actually reaches people, and see how strategy and creativity come together. I’ve learned so much about brand voice, engagement, and what it takes to make content feel authentic while still driving results. A perfect example is the Dining Hall Hack series that I’ve taken over, coming up with new ideas each week and promoting them through exciting video. On top of that, the team has been incredibly supportive and encouraging, which makes every project even more rewarding. I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow, create, and learn every day.
Jada McKie - Junior Social Media Marketing Intern
My internship as a Social Media Marketing Intern at WNE Dining has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has allowed me to grow both creatively and professionally. One of the highlights of my time in this role was planning and executing my Nostalgia Night event, which quickly became my favorite project. It gave me the chance to bring a unique concept to life while engaging the campus community in a fun and memorable way. I especially value the opportunity to collaborate with my team, as their support and ideas help elevate every event we create. I also appreciate the trust and freedom we’re given to run our own events from start to finish, allowing me to strengthen my leadership, organization, and marketing skills while making a meaningful impact. As a Social Media Intern at WNE Dining, one of the most rewarding parts of my experience has been seeing my ideas come to life. One of my favorite projects was the bread bowl concept. Watching it evolve from a simple idea into something students could actually enjoy was incredibly exciting and showed me the real impact creativity can have. I’ve also loved the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow alongside my fellow interns. Being part of such a supportive, creative team has made this internship both meaningful and inspiring.
