Urban Market

Welcome to the Urban Market, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Dining Commons. This dynamic dining destination captures the spirit of a modern urban food hall, offering variety, freshness, and flavor all in one place. 

With one meal swipe, guests can choose from ten different restaurant concepts, each offering its own menu and made-to-order meals. Many dishes are prepared right in front of you, creating the feel of a retail dining experience while still offering the convenience of an on-campus dining hall. With rotating menus and plenty of variety, there is always something new to try.

On the first floor, you’ll find Urban Kitchen, Ignite, True Balance, The Farmacy, Social Toast, Ursa Minor Bakery, and Golden Bear Creamery. Head upstairs to explore Revolve Kitchen, Stone and Fire, and Create Kitchen. 

Urban Kitchen – An exhibition-style kitchen where meals are made to order, just the way you like them! 

Ignite – Start your morning with a full breakfast bar featuring rotating favorites such as pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and a variety of breakfast toppings. Later in the day, enjoy grilled favorites hot off the flame, frequent grill specials, and crispy side dishes.

True Balance – Designed to assist students with food allergies to make safe and healthy choices while dining on campus. This station prepares food free from the nine most common food allergens and offers a variety of flavorful proteins, hearty side dishes, build-your-own salads, and dessert options. True Balance’s goal is to provide students with an equal opportunity to enjoy dining on campus regardless of their food allergy or sensitivity. 

The Farmacy – A full salad bar featuring fresh and locally sourced produce, a variety of toppings, composed salads, and house-made soups. The Farmacy is also home to our Babylon Micro-Farm, an indoor hydroponic growing system that allows us to grow fresh herbs and greens directly on campus.

Social Toast – An all-day continental breakfast bar offering rotating cereals, breads and bagels, an avocado toast bar, and a make-your-own waffle station.

Ursa Minor Bakery – A cozy bakery offering a rotating selection of freshly baked pastries and desserts.

Golden Bear Creamery - A soft-serve ice cream station featuring classic chocolate and vanilla, along with dairy-free Dole Whip and a variety of toppings and sauces.

Create Kitchen – Build your perfect sandwich with your choice of fresh ingredients, then enjoy it cold or warm and crispy from the panini press. You can also create a custom smoothie with frozen fruit, fresh vegetables, yogurt, and your choice of juice or milk.

Stone and Fire – Serving brick-oven pizza, rotating specials, fresh pasta dishes, and hot subs prepared in a state-of-the-art oven.

Revolve Kitchen – A rotating restaurant concept featuring a mix of classic favorites, modern dishes, and regionally inspired menus.
